2009 EMG Scholarship Information
Eisen Marketing Group and its president Rodger Roeser are committed to fostering the educational initiatives of our young people, and in particular, minority students. To that end, Roeser and EMG have developed the EMG Scholarship Fund to assist minority students who are entering college and pursuing a degree in public relations, communications or journalism. The scholarship is open to ALL students and an application to receive the scholarship can be requested by filling in the form below. The judging for the scholarship and the selection is solely at the discretion of EMG and its scholarship committee. The scholarship fund is the third leg of EMG’s continued commitment to the growth of community, small business, and future leaders, and includes the firms Operation: Outreach Program and its Small Business Development Assistance Programs.

NexPhase Internship Program (Cincinnati Office)

EMG has opened opportunities for internship at the agency. The NexPhase internship involves three half days over the course of one semester and preference is given to those students who need the internship to fulfill college graduation requirements. The intern will work with a variety of accounts and assist the client services team in public relations, social media, experiential and advertising/creative duties, as well as other duties assigned. The internships are available from: Feb – May (Spring), May – Aug (Summer), and Sep – Dec (Fall). The competition to get into the internship is exceptionally high, so to be considered, please provide a cover letter as to why you should be selected, along with samples of your best work. Graphic/Web Designer (Cleveland Office)

EMG is looking for a graphic designer with some prior agency experience. Candidate must have knowledge of print and web processes, use of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Dreamweaver or other web development software knowledge. Media Relations & Public Relations

Eisen Marketing Group, Greater Cincinnati’s largest public relations firm, is seeking qualified candidates with at least three years experience (agency preferred) for a media relations and public relations position within the firm. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of media relations and public relations success, be familiar with current public relations technology and tactics, and be able to be proactive with opportunities on behalf of a variety of clientele in a variety of industry verticals. Hard workers and a positive attitude are a must, as are solid writing skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
